Is Fingmint free to play?
Yes. There's no cost to play, no ads gating gameplay, and no download — it runs in your browser.
Do I need a crypto wallet to play?
No. You play with a 12-word secret phrase, which works like a wallet seed phrase but is not tied to any blockchain. It keeps your wins, referrals, and account settings together across devices.
What is FING?
FING is Fingmint's proposed token name. It is not active in the app today: there is no wallet connection, custody, token purchase, transfer, or wager. Demo Credits are not FING and cannot be converted into it.
What is the secret phrase, and is it safe?
It's a 12-word, randomly generated phrase that identifies your account instead of an email and password — the same way a wallet seed phrase works. We never store the phrase itself — only a one-way hash of it. If you lose it, we can't recover it for you, so save it somewhere safe when you first get it.
Is the outcome actually random?
Each demo turn independently chooses one green card from six. The current practice demo runs locally in your browser, so it is not an authoritative live-match or settlement system.
How does a demo match work?
Both sides use the same amount of Demo Credits, then alternate three turns each. Every turn has six cards and one green card. The side with more green cards wins the simulated pot; a tie returns both stakes with no fee.
Can I play on more than one device?
Yes — log in with the same secret phrase on any device and your wins, referrals, and profile come with you. Demo Credits are browser-local practice credits, so they do not sync between devices.
Do Demo Credits or leaderboard rank have real-world value?
No. Demo Credits are non-transferable practice currency with no monetary or token value. Leaderboard rank is based on wins, with referrals as a tie-breaker, and is for bragging rights only.
